I was very hesitant about hiring a wedding coordinator. I didn't want to have a stranger involved in such a personal event. I am so grateful that I still hired her, what a difference she made. She was very discrete and took care of numerous details without anybody noticing. She also prevented many problems and took care of the vendors as well as my guests. Unlike my best friend's wedding, I didn't have to constantly answer all the vendors questions all night, my coordinator made it an interruptions free day and allowed me to enjoy it fully. Thank God that I had a wedding coordinator for my wedding day. I found out later on that problems occurred and were solved before I even noticed. I would of lost my marbles would I have found out that some centerpieces were missing, the baker forgot the cake top and the limo was stalled on the side of the road. Rachel, September18th 1999

2-What I Would of Changed at my WeddingI would of delegated all the tasks of the day to one reliable person. I would of given him or her a list of what I wanted and I would of sent all the people that had questions to this designated person. I should of taken more than one day off work before my wedding day. I believed that we had everything under control, but naturally, the last minute details took all the energy that I had left. I would of placed the favors on the tables instead of distributing them to the guests as they were leaving. This would of given us more time to dance and enjoy ourselves. Annie, September 4th 1999

We should of hired a wedding coordinator. I tried to plan my Montreal wedding from Toronto. Professional help would have been appreciated to establish a budget and to select the good vendors to hire in the city. Make sure that you verify all the details when picking up orders such as invitations, formal wear…We were missing some envelopes and when we picked up the formal wear we had the wrong shoes. Manon, July 31st 1999
