1. If you were born in the Province of Québec :
   
   Birth certificates obtained from parochial or municipal authorities before January 1st, 1994 are acceptable

   Otherwise, you shall include a birth certificate obtained after January 1st, 1994 from the "Direction de l'État Civil" :

2. If you are born in another province :

   Birth certificates have to be issued by the Office of the Provincial registrar Birth certificates coming from Parishes are not accepted Plastic cards issued in other Provinces are acceptable.

3. If you are divorced :

   You must include a certified court copy of final decree or decree absolute or certificate of divorce.

4. If you are widow/widower :

   Death certificates issued by "La Direction de l'État Civil" must be provided. All documents obtained from parochial or funeral directors before January 1st, 1994 are acceptable.

5. If you were born outside Canada :

   You must include your birth certificate obtained from civil authorities in your country.

6. If you were divorced outside Canada :

   You must include a certified court copy or final judgment or decree absolute of divorce.

All documents written in a language other than French or English must be accompanied by an official translation.

A date is setup for an interview as well as a reservation for your marriage (Time/Date/Hour)
